Its getting so hard to source low mileage good examples of 997 Gen 1s nowdays as we bore check every car we buy and are finding the majority of 3.8s have signs of bore scoring , we rarely see scoring on the 3.6 cars .

We will only buy the S models if we can sell them at a price to take into account an engine build either prior to sale or as part of our capped engine rebuild warranty.
